Unexpected break

I finished my 100 days of daily blogging and decided to take a small break, like a day or maybe two. It was a nice change not to be thinking what to blog about. It didn’t work out as I thought it would.

First of all I was still thinking about blogging. My mind is so used to it after those 100 days that I can’t turn it off. I still feel the pressure, or the need maybe, to blog, which I’m happy about, but I was hoping to be able to let go for a couple of days.

Second, Jack, our cat, went missing on Thursday and I couldn’t concentrate. My thoughts are constantly going back to him. I miss this little trouble maker. I’ve informed all the possible places about him missing and told the neighbours, but it’s been 4 days already and I don’t think we’ll see him again.

That’s the main reason why instead of a two day break it’s been almost a week without a post. I’m sad. I want him to come back, but I don’t want to hope. It’s so strange how so small presence can cause a huge hole in our lives.

I wish you a great week.
